I am still alive... And still writing.

This was a triumph.
I am making a note here:
Huge success!

Sorry, I will lay off the funny references for now.

Just wanted to make all my fans aware (I am sure there are at least a dozen of you... maybe ten) that I am still working. I didn't blog much over the holidays due to severe amounts of actual work to do, then mother nature insisted on covering half of the continental USA in snow each week during the month of January. And if all that wasn't enough, one lousy week before I was going to go to buy myself a new TV, my computer decided to throw a damn hissy fit and stop working. There goes $300 bucks down the drain just so I could keep working. Toss in a $100 speeding ticket (my first ever!) and Jan-Feb has been one pile of shit on top of shit.

Thankfully, work on the new book proceeded nicely once all the shit got out of the way. I am happy to say the first two chapters are completely done. And by done I mean when the time come around for me to edit them, they are ready to be edited.

Not that customers have been particularly helpful. I vaguely recall when I was writing my first book shaking my fists in fury at the phone, willing it to stop ringing at me like some kind of suicidal manic trying desperately to get me to kill it. the damned thing doesn't stop. Like some kind of lion, it hides. I don't see anyone in the queue, so I take a brief glance at local weather to see what its like, switch over to my book, type one letter and BEEP! Customer calling. It was kinda funny the first twenty times it happened. After the 500th, its just someone up in heaven trying to tweak me. My next door cubical buddy as told me that I looked like I wanted to kill the phone. I assured her that killing the phone wouldn't stop customers from calling.

I am starting to think this book is going to be huge. When I finished the first one each chapter was about five to seven pages long. Now I am looking at two chapters and they total 28 pages. Fourteen pages per chapter? Good lord that's a lot. My friends told me my last book was too short, so maybe I am overcompensating.

So keep your eyes open and on this blog. I can't promise I will get back to regular updates, but I will see what I can do.

Link lunacy!
- Virtual Shackles is a good webcomic, but not updated enough.
- My blog at 1up is good, check out my articles.
- My friend Vincent Florio has his own blog which focuses on Pen and Paper RPGs. Check it out!
